This is not a maintenance role-it's a build, evolve, and lead opportunity. As Manager of Compensation, you will take ownership of a large, complex compensation function at a pivotal moment, shaping strategy, structure, and programs that directly impact how we compete for and retain top talent. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to modernize and scale compensation practices-from base and incentive design to market intelligence and workforce modeling-bringing both strategic vision and hands-on execution. We're looking for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, can prioritize across competing demands, and is energized by rolling up their sleeves to drive meaningful, enterprise-wide impact.

The Compensation Manager will lead the design, develop and implementation of the organization's compensation philosophy, compensation programs and policies ensuring they are internally equitable, externally competitive, legally compliant, and in alignment with the company's goals, objectives, and strategies. Oversee and lead compensation program management and administration including but not limited to base salary, short- and long-term incentive programs, the analysis and modeling of merit and other salary increases, annual compensation survey participation and results processing, benchmarking process, and scenario modeling for potential compensation programs. Responsible for market pricing and compensation best practice research, monitoring trends, and interpreting results. This includes modeling and recommending program and policy changes to remain competitive in the market.
Required Qualifications: Compensation Manager
  • Minimum five years compensation experience to include administering programs using market pricing methodology required.
  • Minimum three years leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field required.
  • Independent problem-solving skills, management of multiple concurrent tasks, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational and customer service skills required.
  • Proven ability to educate and influence internal and external stakeholders on key strategies and stay attune with changing market trends required.
  • Previous experience with a human resource information system and current experience with governmental regulations (e.g. FLSA, Wage & Hour) required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required.
  • Demonstrated skill and ability to perform statistical analysis required.

Preferred Qualifications: Compensation Manager
  • Certified Compensation Professional or PHR/SPHR certification work preferred.
  • Experience with variable, deferred, executive, and physician compensation programs preferred.
  • Experience with Workday and Payroll systems preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
