Job Title: Sr. Compensation Manager

Location: Chicago, IL 60601


Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Sr. Compensation Manager to lead compensation strategy and programs across North America Operations and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer salaried and hourly compensation programs.
  • Lead annual salary planning and incentive cycles.
  • Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and salary structure development.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation decisions.
  • Ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, compliance, and pay-for-performance.
  • Support salary surveys, compensation training, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in Operations/Manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, program design, and applicable laws.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects; people management preferred.
  • Korn Ferry Hay Job Slotting experience strongly preferred.
  • CCP or other HR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software.
