Our rapidly expanding global Ads team is building an innovative advertising offering where our clients can reach engaged audiences and our members can find must-watch series and films at a lower price. Supporting our Ads business, the Sales Incentive Compensation team's goal is to ensure that commercial teams are exceptionally positioned and rewarded for success by building the incentive program, including the systems, tools, and insights, that enable the people to deliver a rapidly scaling ads business.
Netflix is seeking a Sales Incentive Compensation Manager to be a critical builder of the Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) program, supporting the Advertising business. This means driving new solutions across SIC plan design, data management, payout operations, program analytics and insights, and process/tool design and implementation. The role requires passion for customers and advertisers, analytical thinking, strategic relationship building, and the ability to influence at all levels of the org in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in Sales Incentives and/or Sales Operations programs, with a track record of building and managing the processes and metrics that support a fast-growing sales organization. They've shown real AI capability, having implemented practical AI solutions within an SIC program. This person can manage multiple projects at once, build and drive roadmaps for the SIC program, and navigate complex problem-solving. They will own the design and rollout of data management, reporting, and analytics capabilities for Sales Incentives, including the metrics and measurement frameworks that support the program. The role requires strategic relationship building and close collaboration with Sales Operations, sales leadership, Finance, HR, Talent, Legal, and other Netflix business partner teams.
Responsibilities
  • Determine the effectiveness and impact of global sales incentive compensation models, producing data insights and making design recommendations to an SIC plan design steering committee
  • Drive revenue data quality, including sourcing and reconciliation
  • Partner with engineering to design and implement SIC reporting and automation, including AI solutions
  • Design and implement SIC plans via tools, process and sales readiness
  • Play a key role in the global SIC program foundational buildout including; SIC tool strategy, contributing to policy and procedure documentation, payout operations, SOX, annual plan design process, quota setting and management, and sales support
  • Define, document, and govern health of the program metric review forums senior level stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Talent, and Market Planning and Operations orgs
  • Propose and present ideas effectively, influencing decisions and outcomes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7+ years of sales incentive compensation, FP&A, or sales operations experience
  • Expert level user of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience implementing variable sales compensation plan
  • Demonstrated experience delivering SIC solutions with AI
  • Experience working with Sales CRM and SIC tools (such as Salesforce and CaptivateIQ/Xactly/SPIFF)
  • Demonstrated understanding of finance/FP&A concepts and processes
  • Ability to define, aggregate, and analyze metrics to assess performance drivers
  • Experience setting, interpreting and governing policies for a large-scale program
  • Experience with sales incentive compensation models for advertising/media
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skill
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $225,000.00 - $370,000.00.
