SALES INCENTIVE STRATEGY AND ANALYSIS MANAGER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Sales Incentive Strategy & Analysis Manager is responsible for incentive strategy development and analysis for the Personal & Business Banking sales channels. This role partners with sales leaders, HR, Product and Finance to develop, execute and measure the effectiveness of sales incentive plans. This high visibility role will lead incentive modeling and impact analysis of proposed plan changes related to sales roles, scorecards, products and campaigns. The Sales Incentive Strategy & Analysis Manager is responsible for forecasting quarterly and annual incentives by sales channel. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating performance trends and providing insights into colleague performance and plan effectiveness. The Sales Incentive Strategy & Analysis Manager will lead discussions with the incentive advisory committee and work with HR and Finance partners in leading annual plan approval and changes. This role is also responsible for supporting the incentive exception review process.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Lead and perform analysis, modeling and financial forecasting for incentive plans and banker scorecards. This includes performing detailed analytics to determine incentive and colleague impact when creating new plans, changing plan categories, product changes and/or changing roles.
  • Create executive-level presentations for sales leaders, HR and Finance partners
  • Lead the development of annual Program Books outlining the sales scorecard and incentive design.
  • Coordinate the Incentive Governance Committee materials for annual plan release and any in-year updates to the incentive programs
  • Lead the implementation and execution of plan changes
  • Responsible for the development of the incentive budget, forecast and comparison to achieved results. This includes performing detailed analysis to estimate quarterly incentives.
  • Responsible for the monthly review and analysis of scorecard results, highlighting colleague performance and effectiveness of incentive design
  • Responsible for the validation of the monthly scorecard and quarterly incentive results
  • Identify and research anomalies to colleague performance and incentives, providing insights to plan design and potential issues.
  • Support the exception review process to discuss requested exceptions and recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of competitive metrics and tools to ensure the division's reporting capabilities are up-to-date and consistent with market practices.
  • Responsible and accountable for appropriate quality controls related to the financial products the bank provides, the services the bank delivers, the processes employed and the incentives with which colleagues are awarded.

  • Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of financial analysis experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales analysis and reporting experience
  • 5+ years of experience working within the banking industry
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team

Additional Qualifications
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Snowflake and Tableau
  • Leadership and relationship-building skills required to work with sales leadership, senior management, sales colleagues and subject matter experts
  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise, senior management-level presentations
  • Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment while maintaining accuracy and excellence in output
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills coupled with ability to execute projects with diligence and urgency.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity; able to take initiative to identify and solve problems, develop innovative solutions, and design new processes with minimal direction

Compensation
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
