What You'll do
The Payroll Incentive Analyst performs payroll accounting and administrative duties to support the Payroll department. The ideal candidate can use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency and will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. The position will provide all payroll reporting to operations and accounting. This position will impact a high-volume, rapidly growing multi-state organization, and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate.
  • Produce a variety of Excel reports for internal and external customers including overtime, payroll earnings, deductions, and tax reports, and conducting analysis of payroll reports to develop recommendations to increase efficiency.
  • Assist Accounting Department with month end payroll reports, provide weekly and monthly wage reports to managers and supervisors.
  • Act as the back-up to the Payroll Clerk by assisting with payroll, maintaining data integrity, and managing the Employee Self Service (ESS) system.
  • Responsible for all headcount for new hires, terminations, position changes of SS associates, including initiating and acquiring required signatures on forms.
  • Manage the org charts through Built Org Design, including accesses for managers.
  • Bonus tracking for all bonuses, calculating the bonus payments for all bonus plans, monthly and quarterly.
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience and relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Finance background
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Effectively meet time constraints and agency deadlines
  • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
  • Ability to complete computer-based training
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
  • Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
  • Ability to navigate and access all facilities.
  • Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
  • Close vision for computer-related activities.
