Do you have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for geriatrics? If so, consider joining our team! We have a unique career opportunity available for an Activities Assistant.
Activities Assistant Job Duties:
The Activities Assistant will primarily be responsible for assisting with resident activities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist residents with grooming needs prior to attending activities.

  • Assess resident capabilities concerning activities and group programs.

  • Assist in recruiting and maintaining volunteers to assist in activity programs.

  • Assist the Resident and Family Councils, and bring their concerns to the attention of the Administrator and other appropriate staff.

  • Assist with all charitable fundraising activities as needed.

  • Responsible for seeing that the resident mail and newspapers are sorted and delivered to the residents each day.

  • Perform daily activities, special events, and in-room visits.

  • Assist with resident outings.

Activities Assistant Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • Includes Weekends

Activities Assistant Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Aide required.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program preferred.

Activities Assistant Skills:
