Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $4,482.00 per month to $6,342.00 per month. PLEASE NOTE: The starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $4,482.00 per month to $5,412.00 per month.

About the Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Leadership and Involvement Center and the close work lead direction of the Orientation Coordinator (SSP III), the New Student Orientation Program Assistant is responsible for assisting with the University's year-long onboarding program for incoming students including in-person and virtual components. Duties include assisting with the day-to-day functions connected to New Student Orientation functions; assisting with updating publications and marketing materials (web/hard-copy); assisting with the scheduling of orientation facilities and logistics; and providing added support to the Orientation Team leaders. In addition, as a member of the department, the Orientation Program Assistant will provide administrative support to department programs and initiatives as needed including the First Year Experience planning group.
