*Starting pay is $16 / hour!
*This is a full time position offering a flexible weekday schedule, 10am-6pm. Every other weekend is required!
The Life Enrichment Assistant will engage residents in daily programming and entertainment. Assists the Director in the creation of activities designed to meet the individualized needs of our residents. Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and a willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role.

The Life Enrichment Assistant will:
  • Create and develop programs that meet the individualized needs of the resident population at the community.
  • Brainstorm event ideas using Partnership Profiles.
  • Set up and break down needed materials before and after programs.
  • Assist in resident outings.
  • Track resident attendance and participation.
  • Communicate with DLE for needed activity supplies.
  • Utilize the Partnership Profile to develop appropriate programs of interest to the residents.
  • Utilize the associate Partnership Profile to involve associates in programs of interest and to enhance the monthly calendar.
  • Demonstrate the company philosophy of Positive Partnerships the ARTIS Way.
  • Provides information to the Director of Life Enrichment regarding the resident engagement in order to assist with the development of a personalized care plan.
  • Maintain communication with family members regarding level of participation in programs.

Educational Requirements:
  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
