Job Description
The Programs Director is a strategic, people-centered leader responsible for the development, growth, and overall success of McGaw YMCA's youth and adult fitness, sports, and wellness offerings. This role oversees a broad portfolio spanning land and fitness, sports and courts, and wellness initiatives, ensuring high-quality, inclusive experiences that help members achieve their goals, build meaningful relationships, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, fitness, recreation, or related field
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing operations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Group exercise and/or personal training experience and certifications necessary. Certifications can include Group exercise and/or YMCA strength and conditioning, ACE, NASM, ACSM personal training certification.
