Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Developer to join our dynamic team in the nutraceutical industry. As a Product Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and introduction of new nutraceutical products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve the overall quality and efficacy of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical knowledge, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing the lives of consumers through cutting-edge nutraceutical solutions.

As a Product Developer, your responsibilities will include innovating, flavoring, and formulating new products, and developing prototypes. You will also be responsible for coordinating with appropriate teams to conduct sensory testing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with operations and quality assurance teams to oversee the scale-up and commercialization of products.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

? Flavor new and existing products in the laboratory, providing samples for customer approval and feedback

? Design and formulate new dietary supplements and functional food products, taking into consideration manufacturability, flavor, cost, safety, and efficacy.

? Collaborate cross-departmentally to investigate and troubleshoot any OOS issues, conduct product testing and optimization, and other related functions.

? Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines throughout the development process.

? Coordinate with manufacturing teams to oversee the scale-up and commercialization of products.

? Obtain, understand, and utilize production specification sheets, CoAs, and various documents required for raw material evaluation and analysis.

? Coordinate and evaluate customer feedback and make necessary modifications to new and existing products.

? Understand the needs of and communicate with customers and key business partners to provide best-in-class service and products.

Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field.

? At least 3 years of experience in dietary supplement or functional food product development.

? Must be able to work for long periods of time in a nutraceutical laboratory setting

? Extensive knowledge of FDA (CFR Part 111) regulations for labeling and other regulatory requirements for food and dietary supplement products.

? Proven ability to evaluate market trends and consumer needs.

? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

? Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects on tight timelines

? Proficiency in Genesis ESHA software

? Tablet, capsule, soft chew, and/or powder manufacturing experience preferred
