SOFT SEATING PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Role qualifications:

-Must execute product design to meet company objectives

-Partners with management team, sales, and marketing to ensure effective product design

Position responsibilities:

-Oversee product specifications for new styles and changes

-Schedule and conduct release meetings for new products

-Make recommendations for new material, design ideals, and methods

Essential skills and experience:

-Knowledge of frame design, fabric patterns, specifications, pattern design, and upholstery construction

-Must be able to create foam and fabric patterns, sew samples, upholster samples, and train line personnel

-Commitment to company values, trade secrets, and confidentiality

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Physical demands:

- While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Work in facility with warm to hot temperatures.
