Job description

About the Role Our client is seeking a Product Engineer to develop AI-powered, agentic workflows that modernize construction planning and scheduling. In this role, you will design and build intelligent automation systems, conversational interfaces, and autonomous agents that enable construction teams to operate more efficiently. This position is product-focused and emphasizes the delivery of practical, production-ready AI solutions.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement agentic AI workflows to automate construction processes Build intelligent agents for scheduling, resource allocation, and project optimization Develop conversational interfaces and implement effective prompt engineering strategies Create and maintain scalable backend services using Python and/or Golang Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs into core construction workflows Design and build scalable APIs to support complex construction project data Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver cohesive AI-driven user experiences Requirements 4+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong backend focus Proficiency in Python and/or Golang; Node.js experience is a plus Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI APIs Solid understanding of agentic systems and workflow automation concepts Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain Background in building conversational AI systems or chatbots Proven experience deploying agent-based chat systems to production Strong API design skills and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Familiarity with React for frontend integration Strong product mindset with a focus on user outcomes Excellent communication skills in a remote work environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction technology or project management software Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and vector databases Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools Understanding of construction industry workflows Tech Stack Python, Golang, React, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Docker, GitLab, Datadog Compensation (DOE) $165k – $175k annual base salary #J-18808-Ljbffr
