Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in both location and work hours. As a team member of Brightside Health, you will work within a collaborative virtual environment, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and resources designed to streamline your counseling practice. You will have access to user-friendly electronic medical records (EMR) and treatment software that integrate with various assessment tools, making documentation efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly live video therapy sessions with adult clients, using evidence-based practices tailored to their individual emotional and mental health needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and fellow counselors to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Utilize symptom self-assessments and goal progress measures to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation through our efficient counselor portal, leveraging digital tools for streamlined notes and reporting.

• Engage in weekly clinical consultations with Brightside’s Therapy Leadership Team to discuss cases, seek guidance, and enhance your professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults grappling with a spectrum of emotional and behavioral disorders, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. Through our evidence-based programming, you will support clients in navigating their challenges while empowering them to develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A valid LPC license in your respective state of practice.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in providing mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practices and a commitment to client care.

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in telehealth services is highly advantageous, particularly familiarity with video conferencing platforms and virtual therapeutic methodologies. Additional training in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) will be provided for those treating clients at elevated risk for suicide.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include full malpractice and tail insurance coverage, and operational support for billing and administrative tasks, allowing you to concentrate on client care. You are also given the flexibility to choose between W2 or 1099 employment structures based on your preferences and state requirements.
