Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a talented Oracle XStore Test Manager for a 12-month contract opportunity in Nashville, TN. The role involves leading testing activities for Oracle XStore POS implementations and managing the QA team while ensuring compliance with retail standards.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage testing activities for Oracle XStore POS implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• Define and execute test strategy, test plans, and test cases across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and third-party vendors for test planning and execution
• Oversee POS functional testing, including billing, returns, promotions, inventory, and payments
• Ensure integration testing with downstream systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, loyalty systems)
• Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA or ALM and ensure timely resolution
• Lead and mentor QA team members, assign tasks, and track progress
• Drive automation strategy where applicable (POS automation, API testing)
• Provide test status reporting, risk analysis, and quality metrics to leadership
• Ensure compliance with retail standards and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8 years of QA/testing experience with 3 years in Test Management roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle XStore POS
• Deep understanding of retail POS workflows (sales, returns, discounts, promotions, tenders)
• Experience in end-to-end test lifecycle management
• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.)
• Experience in API and integration testing
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
