Job Summary:
Universal Processing LLC (uP) is a minority-owned Fintech company dedicated to empowering small to medium-sized businesses. The POS Systems Specialist role involves client-facing work, troubleshooting systems, and supporting sales efforts, requiring a technical background and fluency in Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
• Handle advanced POS software and hardware troubleshooting cases
• Prepare, install, configure, and maintain POS systems and related hardware for merchants
• Support large-scale or multi-location deployment projects
• Perform remote troubleshooting over the phone and through remote support tools
• Support integrations with payment terminals, printers, online ordering platforms, and third-party systems
• Collaborate with the Product and Development teams on testing plans, UAT, and product improvement initiatives
• Participate in pilot launches and new feature rollouts
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to TS Level 1 team members
• Assist Operations and Sales teams with technical consultations and deployment planning
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
• Assist with inventory tracking, hardware preparation, and device management
• Handle escalated merchant support cases and provide timely resolutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is required, both reading and writing included.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with POS systems
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Able to actively listen to clients and interact with clients in a friendly and patient manner
• Able to take initiative to solve problem effectively
• Self-motivated to learn new systems and installation of products
• Able to accomplish tasks before deadlines and be detail-oriented
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team and as an individual
• Proficient with Excel and Word
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Administration, or related field is a plus
