They are seeking a Point of Sale (POS) System Coordinator to take ownership of the POS ecosystem across multiple stores. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that directly supports store operations and ensures the accuracy, reliability, and performance of front-end retail systems.

Main Job Responsibilities for Point of Sale (POS) System Coordinator:

  • Administer and support the POS environment across multiple store locations, ensuring accurate communication between front-end registers and back-office systems.
  • Maintain item files, PLUs, pricing, promotions, departments, tenders, and tax tables to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary POS support resource for store managers and front-end teams, troubleshooting issues with registers, scanners, scales, printers, and payment devices.
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly POS operational processes, including end-of-day and financial reconciliation workflows.
  • Coordinate with POS vendors and technology partners to resolve technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with system upgrades, hardware replacements, and store technology projects.
  • Maintain documentation, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications of Point of Sale (POS) System Coordinator:

  • 3+ years of POS systems experience within a multi-location retail or grocery environment.
  • Hands-on experience with BR Data (host/back office).
  • Hands-on experience with Encore by Truno (front end).
  • Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot POS hardware, integrations, and store technology systems.
