Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a System Administrator specializing in Stores POS, Server, and Network administration. The role involves creating system images, troubleshooting applications, and collaborating with vendors to enhance automation processes.
Responsibilities:
• Stores POS, System Admin, Server admin, Network admin
• Creating system imaging, cloning, and recovery across multiple devices.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ActionScript-based applications to enhance automation processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to deploy and update software images efficiently.
• Optimize and automate the creation of system images for various hardware platforms.
• Provide technical support for image-based deployments and script issues.
• Testing of new devices that are being onboarded to the store environment like scan guns and printers
• Backup and restore process for store workstations
• Maintenance and reporting of store workstations
• Work with L3 support on store tickets
• Develop and support server and client-side programs and methodologies that launch in store workstations
• Work with Dell on all new the new model workstation CFI process as well as being a contact point for all future CFI or workstation related issues in regard to the image, hard drive, problem warranty replacement systems, supply chain.
• Work with networking team to resolve network issues in store or for adding new workstation in store
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8-9+ Years of experience
• Stores POS, System Admin, Server admin, Network admin
• Creating system imaging, cloning, and recovery across multiple devices.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ActionScript-based applications to enhance automation processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to deploy and update software images efficiently.

• Stores and Point of Sales, MVS System Administration, Operating Systems
• Proven experience with Ghost imaging
• Strong knowledge of ActionScript 2.0/3.0 for interactive application development.
• Familiarity with IT system deployments, cloning, and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and related configurations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., SCCM).
Preferred:
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus
• Knowledge with BigFix is a plus
