Job description

Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine is seeking aย Key Account Managerย for our Cinnaminson, NJย location.ย The Key Account Manager will serve as the strategic relationship owner for some of Delva's most important and complex customer accounts. You'll work directly with customers, operations, engineering, estimating, and leadership to ensure successful program execution while identifying opportunities for long-term growth.

What Youโ€™ll Own
  • Own and manage strategic customer relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations
  • Lead customer business reviews, including delivery performance, quality metrics, capacity planning, and growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute account strategies designed to grow revenue and strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Negotiate pricing, long-term agreements, and commercial terms alongside company leadership
  • Proactively identify customer risks, supply chain challenges, and new program opportunities before they become problems
  • Coordinate internally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Scheduling to ensure successful execution of customer programs
  • Serve as the internal advocate for customer needs while balancing operational realities
  • Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitor activity to help drive business strategy
  • Mentor junior Account Representatives and Account Managers on communication, quoting, and customer management best practices
  • Represent Delva during customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed
  • Support quoting activity, customer forecasting, production planning, and long-term program management
ย What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, customer management, inside sales, business development, or program management within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or precision machining environments
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflows
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and navigating high-pressure situations professionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and cross-functional internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer expectations against operational capabilities
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
