Job description

What Drives Success

Under general supervision, the Key Account Rep is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer quotes, orders, and dispute resolution. Working in a collaborative team environment, this role supports a shared portfolio of customer accounts and ensures a seamless customer experience through efficient communication and service delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and providing detailed product information.
  • Reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications provided by customers to determine product needs.
  • Managing and tracking customer requests from initial inquiry through production and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Processing order modifications, cancellations, and returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing ongoing quote follow-ups by regularly updating reports, tracking status changes in customer databases and coordinating with third-party vendors.
  • Collaborating with internal departments such as customer service, logistics, and finance to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Maintaining customer records in customer database for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate account data and interactions within CRM tools.
What We Are Looking For

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 year of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening and communication.
  • Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and competing demands.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the HVAC or manufacturing industry
  • Experience supporting multi-site or large project accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD software
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).  The starting salary range for this role and market is between $48,000 - $70,350 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, and 10 paid holidays.
