Job description

The function of the New Accounts Representative is to enter all new incoming applications accurately and completely. The New Accounts Representative must create a file for each account including but not limited to setting up a Checklist and running a credit report, then take the completed file to Underwriting for the approval process. The overall objective is to meet the company time service standards and department turnaround time of getting all new accounts keyed into the system within 1 hour of receiving the application.

  • Enter new applications received accurately and completely.
  • Create a file and checklist to include the applications and all supporting documents received.
  • Review and verify equipment information for PCI compliance.
  • Attach all documents into internal database.
  • Identify additional documents that require additional set up handling. (IE, holdbacks, deployment forms, supermarket/utility set-up’s etc.)
  • Communicate all missing information or inconsistencies on the checklist for the Underwriter to review.
  • Update and change the status in the internal database.
  • Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Â
