Job description

About RoboMQ

RoboMQ is a fast-growing SaaS company delivering disruptive Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions to mid-market enterprise customers. Our flagship product, Hire2Retire, automates the employee identity lifecycle by integrating HR systems with Identity Management and other applications helping organizations achieve seamless onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and security with zero-trust and least-privilege security posture.

Hire2Retire is featured in Gartner Market Guides and has been a consistent high performer on G2 in user provisioning and IAM tools.

About the Role

We're hiring an Implementation Engineer with a growth path to Customer Success Manager.

You'll implement and configure Hire2Retire for customers, not just explain how it works, but make it work. That means understanding the customer's business problem, configuring the product to solve it, and working with the product team when something doesn't fit. This is a technical role. You need to be comfortable with concepts like APIs, SFTP, Active Directory, and identity lifecycle management.

This is not a software development role.

We're a small, growing team. You'll be expected to learn on your own, figure things out, and move fast. If you need everything documented and handed to you, this isn't the right fit.

Our hiring process includes a writing assessment, aptitude test, logical reasoning evaluation, and an in-person coding exercise.

***This opportunity is for local candidates ONLY. You must reside in Northern Virginia, DC or Maryland (DMV metro area) ***

Before you apply, make sure:

  • You are a US citizen or a green card holder. No H1B or OPT.
  • This job is at office, with no remote or hybrid setup.
  • 2 - 5 years in a SaaS implementation, technical support, solutions engineering, or QA role.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Guiding the customer on implementation and configuring Hire2Retire end-to-end: requirements gathering, product setup, and training.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving product issues for customers and understanding what's happening, at a deep level, and owning the solution.
  • Communicate customer use cases and implementation challenges to the product team clearly and concisely.
  • Evaluate whether a proposed design or feature approach will work based on what you've seen with customers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to keep customers aligned and getting value.
  • Learn the product deeply, which means reading documentation, understanding the architecture, and asking the right questions.

Qualifications

  • You have a good technical foundation, you understand APIs, SFTP, Active Directory, and how enterprise software integrates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, you can state a problem simply and clearly in five minutes, not two hours.
  • You learn fast and independently. You read docs, use available tools, and ask sharp questions when you're stuck.
  • Organized enough to manage multiple customers and priorities without dropping things.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, and disability coverage.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced work environment with high growth potential.
  • Opportunity to make a direct impact on a high-growth SaaS product.
