Senior Implementation Engineer

What does a successful Senior Implementation Engineer do at Fiserv?

A successful Senior Implementation Engineer at Fiserv delivers solutions for complex business challenges using Finxact Core APIs and technical capabilities. This role advises clients on integration strategy, implementation, onboarding, and best practices to support successful outcomes. You will also collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive adoption and support success across the implementation lifecycle.

What you will do?

  • Build and maintain deep expertise in Finxact technology and architecture to develop, manage, and support solutions that use Finxact Core APIs and related technical features.
  • Partner with clients to solve complex business problems, troubleshoot issues, provide guidance on integration models and workflows, and advise on integrating third-party vendors into the Finxact ecosystem.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients, ecosystem partners, and internal teams to support product adoption and serve as a subject matter expert on APIs and integration points.
  • Support end-to-end client implementations by participating in technical design, analyzing application, ecosystem, people, process, and technology requirements, and providing training, onboarding, product feedback, and client support.
  • Develop and code core functionality and interfaces, participate in test execution and documentation, and assist with deployment activities for client implementations.

What you must have?

  • 6+ years of professional experience in API and software development.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in functional, imperative, or object-oriented languages.
  • 1+ role supporting clients directly in a financial software or technical implementation environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or 1 equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.

What would be nice to have?

  • 1+ year of experience in the financial services industry.
  • 1+ year of experience programming in Golang.
  • 3+ demonstrated strengths across communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and accountability.
