What you will be doing: 

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be part of our Professional Services team, delivering platform solutions for client institutions through consultative discovery, solution configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers, you will guide clients from project initiation through deployment, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and drive successful outcomes.

You will leverage your product expertise to provide strategic guidance, recommend best-practice solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle. By building strong client relationships and maintaining a focus on quality and results, you will help clients realize value from their investment and achieve long-term success.

This role requires strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and execution skills, as well as ownership of the functional delivery experience and client outcomes.

Job Summary / Purpose

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading the functional delivery of assigned client implementations, partnering with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure successful execution from project kickoff through deployment. This role configures solutions, provides best-practice guidance, delivers client training, and drives client readiness, adoption, and long-term success.

Who you will work with:

In this role, you will partner with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including fellow Professional Services Project Managers and Engineers, Support, Sales, Client Management, ERP vendors, third-party partners, and senior client leaders to ensure clients achieve their implementation goals.

• Meet or exceed established goals for utilization, client satisfaction, and project delivery.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and best-practice recommendations throughout implementation.
• Configure and optimize platform solutions to align with client business processes and objectives.
• Collaborate with technical resources to implement, test, and validate integrations with client systems.
• Lead client enablement efforts through training, change management support, and go-live readiness activities.
• Continuously develop expertise in new and existing products, services, and implementation methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating client meetings, gathering requirements, delivering training, and supporting solution adoption.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software implementation, professional services, consulting, technical support, or project delivery roles.
• Experience implementing enterprise software solutions, including ERP, SIS, payment, or transaction-based systems.
• Experience working directly with clients to gather business requirements and recommend solutions.
• Familiarity with system integrations and data validation/testing processes.
• Experience using tools such as Excel, Kantata, SharePoint, Jira, or other project and collaboration platforms.
• Experience in higher education, SaaS, fintech, or technology-related industries.
• Ability to translate client business requirements into solution designs, configurations, and implementation recommendations.
