Job Summary:
The Senior Security Implementation Engineer provides technical leadership and advanced expertise in designing and deploying complex cybersecurity solutions across Logically's customer base. This role is responsible for architecting and implementing sophisticated security infrastructure projects, managing complex multi-phase deployments, developing implementation standards and procedures, and serving as the highest-level technical escalation resource for the Cybersecurity team. The Senior Security Implementation Engineer handles Logically's most complex customer environments including enterprise SASE/SSE deployments, advanced email security implementations, comprehensive security awareness programs, and integrated security stack solutions. This position leads major deployment initiatives, mentors implementation staff, and drives continuous improvement of implementation processes and methodologies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide best in class customer service to Logically's customer base

  • Manage the status of open tickets/projects and complete technical and operational tasks to address project deliverables efficiently and accurately
  • Lead project management for complex, multi-phase security implementations including resource coordination, risk management, timeline development, and executive stakeholder communication
  • Design and implement complex, secure networks that revolve around the business and technology requirements of customers
  • Lead deployment of enterprise-scale security infrastructure projects across multiple customer sites and technologies
  • Architect and implement advanced firewall solutions including high availability configurations, SD-WAN deployments, and complex policy architecture across SonicWall, Fortinet, and other platforms
  • Design and deploy enterprise SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and SSE (Security Service Edge) architectures including FortiSASE and SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge with integration across customer security stack
  • Architect and implement comprehensive email security solutions including Proofpoint advanced threat protection, data loss prevention, email encryption, and policy frameworks
  • Design and deploy enterprise-wide security awareness training programs including KnowBe4 campaign strategy, behavioral analytics, phishing simulation programs, and executive reporting frameworks
  • Design and deploy sophisticated endpoint security strategies including integration with SIEM, SOAR, and security orchestration platforms
  • Architect and implement enterprise SIEM solutions including distributed log collection infrastructure, custom parsing rules, and integration with existing security stack
  • Design and implement complex wireless solutions including large-scale deployments, Heatmaps (live or predictive analysis) roaming optimization, and captive portal integrations
  • Lead implementation of compliance-focused security configurations for PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO, and other frameworks
  • Lead customer project meetings including kickoffs, status reviews, and After-Action Reviews
  • Manage project dependencies and coordinate across multiple internal teams and external vendors
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting, traffic analysis, and security incident response during implementation phases
  • Develop and maintain implementation standards, procedures, and best practices documentation
  • Create and refine deployment playbooks and automation tools to improve implementation efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management and architecture teams to translate complex designs into executable implementation plans
  • Serve as primary tier 3 escalation resource for the most complex implementation and support issues in the Cyber Division
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Security Implementation Engineers and Technicians
  • Conduct technical training sessions for implementation team on advanced topics and new technologies
  • Lead root cause analysis for implementation failures and drive corrective action
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and expand customer cybersecurity portfolios based on implementation observations
  • Apply risk management frameworks to assess cybersecurity risks and provide strategic recommendations during implementation
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Service Delivery teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Participate in pre-sales technical consultations for complex implementation projects including solution scoping and technical proposal development
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for implementation processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with vendor technical resources and support teams including leveraging TAM relationships and escalation channels
  • Participate in on-call rotation and serve as escalation point for critical customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all contractual and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred, OR commensurate professional experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in network and security implementation, engineering, or architecture roles
  • At least 2 of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, Fortinet NSE4 or higher, SonicWall Network Security Professional (SNSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISSP, PMP
  • Expert-level experience deploying and configuring enterprise security platforms across multiple vendors
  • Demonstrated experience with SASE/SSE architecture and cloud-delivered security services
  • Proven experience with email security platform implementation and policy development (Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar)
  • Experience deploying and managing security awareness training programs (KnowBe4 or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience with complex network architecture and deployment
  • Proven project management experience including managing multi-phase, multi-stakeholder implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of firewall policies, security standards, and enterprise ruleset management
  • Deep understanding of network protocols including STP, LAG, LACP, ACL, LLDP, 802.1X, NAC, BGP, OSPF
  • Advanced understanding of L2/L3 switching, routing, and SD-WAN technologies
  • Strong experience with Linux system administration and automation scripting
  • Demonstrated expertise with SIEM platforms including architecture, deployment, and integration
  • Proven experience with endpoint security platform architecture and large-scale deployments
  • Experience with wireless site surveys, predictive analysis, and enterprise wireless design
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO and others
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools preferred
