Job description

Job Title: Data Engineer (6-Month Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Onsite - Columbus, OH(local candidates only)

Summary:

We're hiring a Data Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity to lead data engineering efforts for our business intelligence initiatives in the residential HVAC new construction and services industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and managing the data infrastructure that powers analytics and insights across the company.

You'll work with cutting-edge tools and cloud technologies to turn raw data into meaningful insights, helping to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines for business intelligence and analytics
  • Build and manage ETL processes to integrate data from HVAC systems, CRMs, and financial platforms
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Implement cloud-based data solutions using tools like Azure, Databricks, and data accelerator platforms
  • Automate dashboards and reporting for real-time business insights
  • Create and optimize data models to support performance tracking and operational efficiency
  • Develop predictive models for HVAC system maintenance and service planning
