He/she will perform highly visible on-site and remote software installations and upgrades of all Varian software products, which include troubleshooting and diagnosis as needed.
  • You will work with physical and virtual environments, operating systems, databases and other software and networking tec4hnologies.

  • You will review scope of work for assigned tasks to ensure all hardware and software components are available.

  • You will review customer IT infrastructure and project plans to ensure they meet documented installation requirements.

  • You will complete all necessary task documentation to meet Varian's Quality processes and procedures.

  • You will maintain customer system inventories using Keystone or Site Equipment Configuration documentation or equivalent.

  • You will keep current on Varian products and technologies through both internal and external training and certification.

  • You will collaborate with project management, local service and hardware installation and remote software deployment teams to provide World Class Customer Service.

  • You will demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to the Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP).

  • You may be required to facilitate training and mentoring of new Installation Representatives.

  • You will coordinate other subject matter experts required to assist in performing installation or upgrade activities.

  • You require minimum supervision.

Specific functions or duties:

  • You will perform upgrade or system installation team leader duties as assigned on large scale software projects.

  • You will input detailed records of installation and upgrade work performed into company information systems to ensure accurate updated customer installation information is available to other functions.

  • You will maintain a high degree of professionalism and safety according to company guidelines and customer regulations in order to perform activities under the safest working conditions.

  • You will report by means of daily report, work order, timecard, expense reports, etc. regularly and in a timely fashion to ensure that accurate company statistical data on customer-oriented activities is available.

  • You will complete all required installation documentation that pertains to the job being completed and update all requested and/or required data for tracking purposes as per the applicable Varian's Quality processes and procedures.

  • You will use prescribed problem-resolution escalation procedures and request technical assistance, when necessary, in a timely manner.

  • You will provide feedback on products and documentation to improve installation processes

  • You will train, mentor, and advise new and less experienced Installation Representatives in all aspects of the job. Provides feedback on performance of Installation Representatives to incumbents and management.

  • You will travel 75-100% of the time across Thailand, ASEAN and Korea as needed.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • You hold at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, etc. or equivalent, or at least 3-5 years of experience in related fields, such as MedTech, medical or hospital environment, which is preferred.

  • You have hands on experience on Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), certification will be an added advantage.

  • You have experience as system window administrators - Windows server (2012 - 2022), AD, Group policy, DNS, DHCP, and Server Roles are preferred.

  • You have strong knowledge of fundamental networking: port forwarding, IP addressing and firewall/routing concept.

  • You have comprehensive knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting of networks.

  • You are familiar with Citrix environment.

  • You have sound professional technical experience with system software and excellent debugging skills.

  • You are highly organized with detailed planning skills.

  • You have a customer-focused attitude.

  • You are articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication.

  • You are proficient in the local language (Thai, Bahasa, or Filipino) and in English, both written and spoken.
