Implementation Engineer

Summary of the role

The Implementation Engineer supports the delivery of airline and airport IT implementation projects through configuration, testing, documentation and deployment activities. The role contributes to project success by executing assigned activities, supporting customer engagements and developing technical, business and project management capabilities. The role operates under the direction of a Project Lead or Project Manager while progressively building the skills required to independently manage project activities.

In this role you’ll
  • Support implementation and deployment activities.
  • Execute configuration, validation, testing and documentation tasks.
  • Assist with cutover preparation and go-live activities.
  • Contribute to project status reporting, action tracking and meeting preparation.
  • Participate in customer workshops and capture requirements under guidance.
  • Escalate risks, issues, blockers and missing information appropriately.
  • Develop knowledge of airport IT, airline IT, integration, network concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activities.

Developing project management and implementation delivery knowledge. Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
