Job description

Senior Implementations Consultant

Location: East Coast (Remote, U.S.)

Who We Are

Vic.ai is building the future of autonomous accounting using AI. We help finance teams eliminate manual work, increase accuracy, and scale intelligently by transforming one of the most complex and operationally heavy areas of finance: accounts payable.

Our AI-powered platform applies machine learning and automation to invoice processing, coding, approvals, and insights - enabling finance teams to operate with speed, confidence, and control. Vic.ai has processed hundreds of millions of invoices with industry-leading accuracy and supports thousands of customers across a wide range of ERP environments.

We’re a fast-growing, product-driven company backed by top-tier investors, operating with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pace. Our values guide how we work every day: People First, Integrity is Fundamental, Honesty is Magic, Action over Motion, and Enjoy the Journey.

Why Work at Vic.ai

At Vic.ai, implementations are deeply technical, highly collaborative, and critical to customer success.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, finance operations, and enterprise software delivery. You’ll work with sophisticated customers, complex ERP environments, and AI-driven workflows - helping organizations operationalize automation and change how their finance teams work.

You’ll have real influence over how Vic.ai scales its implementation motion: defining frameworks, improving tooling, partnering closely with Integrations and Product, and ensuring our AI capabilities are deployed effectively and responsibly from day one.

If you enjoy translating technical systems into real business outcomes and thrive in environments where execution, precision, and ownership matter - you’ll find this role both challenging and rewarding.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Implementations Consultant to lead complex, enterprise-level customer onboardings at Vic.ai. Reporting to the Director of Implementations, you will own the technical and operational execution of implementations, ensuring customers are fully prepared to leverage Vic.ai’s AI platform at go-live.

This role is ideal for a hands-on implementation leader who is comfortable navigating ERP ecosystems, data flows, and automation-driven change while also engaging confidently with senior customer stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Successfully leading complex, AI-enabled implementations with minimal supervision

  • Driving strong alignment across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders

  • Translating customer requirements into scalable, repeatable implementation approaches

  • Identifying risks early and proactively managing dependencies across systems and teams

  • Elevating implementation standards, documentation, and delivery quality

  • Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to a high-performing implementation team

What You’ll Do
  • Design and execute scalable implementation frameworks: Develop processes, templates, and technical best practices for enterprise Vic.ai deployments

  • Own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle: From post-sale handoff through go-live readiness and early adoption

  • Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with Integrations, Product, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to align system requirements and delivery timelines

  • Lead technical go-live execution, including:

    • Project planning, milestones, and dependency management

    • Coordination across ERP integrations, data ingestion, and AI configuration

    • Risk identification, mitigation strategies, and escalation management

    • KPI tracking and post-implementation optimization

  • Guide customers through AI-driven change: Support customers as they adopt automated workflows, align expectations, and operationalize new processes

  • Champion implementation quality: Ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability in customer environments

  • Mentor and lead: Provide guidance to future junior consultants and contribute to team-wide delivery excellence

  • Standardize and scale delivery: Partner with Operations to define implementation standards and support partner-led implementation models

What You’ll Need
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years leading software implementations (ERP, finance systems, or data-driven platforms strongly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems, integrations, and enterprise data workflows

  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple technical and business workstreams

  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, define scope, and translate needs into executable plans

  • Comfort working with AI-enabled products, automation, and evolving technical systems

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior customer stakeholders

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; PMP certification a plus

  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and technologies

Why This Role Matters

This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences customer success, product adoption, and Vic.ai’s ability to scale responsibly. You’ll help customers unlock the full value of AI in finance - and help define how enterprise implementations are delivered as Vic.ai continues to grow.

If you’re excited by technical problem-solving, AI-powered platforms, and leading complex implementations at scale, we’d love to hear from you.
