Job description

Our Professional Services team delivers ONESOURCE implementation, consulting, and training services to enterprise clients. We are seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead client implementations for Sales & Use Tax Compliance, Certificate Manager, and VAT Compliance solutions. This role is ideal for a consultant with strong indirect tax knowledge, software implementation experience, and a client-focused delivery mindset.
About the Role
In the role of Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end implementations across the full project life cycle, including:
  • Lead client workshops to gather requirements, review processes, and define solution designs
  • Implement Sales & Use Tax Compliance, Certificate Manager, and VAT Compliance solutions, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to client teams
  • Manage project issues, risks, and status updates while partnering with internal and client stakeholders
  • Support presales and solution discussions as needed

Key Relationships
This role reports to the Team Lead and collaborates closely with Professional Services, product, sales, and client stakeholders.
About You
In the role of Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:
  • Experience in client-facing software implementation or technology consulting
  • Knowledge of indirect tax processes, including Sales & Use Tax, exemption certificates, and VAT compliance
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Experience with ONESOURCE or similar tax technology platforms preferred
  • AI-forward mindset with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and apply emerging technologies and automation capabilities to improve consulting delivery, client outcomes, and operational efficiency
  • University / undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
  • Travel 10% to client sites and/or internal meetings/events

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
