Summary

We are seeking a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday Senior HRIS Analyst with experience in diverse organizations and industries. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the HRIS Manager in the maintenance and enhancement of our Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with associated responsibilities in the organization's artificial intelligence (AI) implementation strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, commitment to quality, and a deep understanding of HR processes, data structures, organizational AI, and HRIS best practices, specifically targeting Workday.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Configure and maintain the Workday HRIS, including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, integrations, and security domains and roles.
  • Assist with HRIS data migration and integration projects, ensuring data quality and system compatibility.
  • Prepare and execute cross-application test scenarios with the HR team, ensuring all changes and enhancements are fully tested and meet all business requirements.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features and assess their potential impact on our HR processes and systems.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and user guides to educate HR staff and employees on HRIS functionality and best practices.
  • Provide Tier 2 end-user support and troubleshooting for HRIS-related issues, including system errors, data discrepancies, and user access.
  • Maintain documentation of HRIS processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS system.
  • Generate and analyze advanced reports, discovery boards, and dashboards to support HR and business decision-making.
  • Evaluate current HR processes, systems, and data infrastructure to identify AI implementation opportunities to include but not limited to opportunities to automate repetitive tasks such as resume screening, onboarding workflows, and compliance reporting.
  • Guide the organization through successful and transformational AI implementation within the HR space, managing change and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
  • In partnership with Executive Management, establish policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance standards for responsible AI use in HR, and work with IT, legal, compliance, and business leaders to ensure seamless AI integration.
  • Lead development and implementation of organizational AI strategies and initiatives to include but not limited to strategic workforce forecasting and planning, and identification of opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within HR.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience as a Workday HRIS Analyst or similar role with 3 or more years of hands-on configuration ownership
  • Expert-level technical skills and proficiency in Workday Core HCM plus two or more other functional areas (e.g., Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Journeys, Workforce Planning)
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices
  • Advanced experience with HRIS implementation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion working with highly sensitive information
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational AI applications and workforce analytics
  • Organizational AI certification is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Workday certification is strongly preferred, but not required

  • This position will report to the HRIS Manager.
  • This position will have significant interactions with HR Executive Management as well as the entire HR team, IT team, and other key stakeholders.
