They are seeking a Resource Manager to help ensure employees are assigned enough work that aligns with their skills and bandwidth, while directing the allocation of resources to improve utilization and profitability.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain an understanding of practice portfolio and status of each engagement
โ€ข Maintain an understanding of key skills needed, team membersโ€™ career aspirations and current skill sets, to align employees to engagement staffing needs
โ€ข Work with the delivery teams to understand demand and determine appropriate staffing
โ€ข Develop staffing strategies to optimize employee utilization and optimize engagement profitability
โ€ข Ensure staffing levels are adequate for current and future engagements; develop hiring plans for you assigned practice
โ€ข Maintain Resource Management tools such as Assignment Tracker, Allocation Tracker, Skills Inventory, and Practice Portfolio Tracker
โ€ข Utilize Resource Management systems to generate and analyze reports
โ€ข Report utilization, demand, and supply metrics to stakeholders
โ€ข Ensure timely submission of timesheets for your assigned practices
โ€ข Contribute to development and documentation of standard Resource Management Methodologies
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelors degree in Business, Management, HR Management, or a similar field
โ€ข Project Management Certification Course, Scrum Master Certification a plus
โ€ข Minimum 2 years experience in roles similar to Resource Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Scrum Master
