HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

A respected California-based professional services organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to serve as its senior HR leader. Based in Sacramento, this role provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple California offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead firm-wide HR strategy and operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Oversee compensation administration, benchmarking, and review cycles
  • Manage benefits administration and vendor relationships
  • Guide employee relations, investigations, and performance management
  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and organizational development
  • Lead and develop an established HR team

Qualifications

  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or PHRca certification required
  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 3+ years leading an HR team in a professional services environment
  • Strong California employment law expertise
  • Experience supporting multi-office operations within California

Compensation

  • $125,000–$180,000 base salary
