Job description

Octagon Talent Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Workday HRIS Director to oversee the strategic management and optimization of Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Payroll modules. The director will lead the overall HRIS initiatives, ensuring the effective integration and utilization of Workday capabilities across the organization, and will supervise a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) who reports directly to this role.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the HRIS team in managing and enhancing Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Payroll modules, aligning system capabilities with organizational HR strategies.
- Develop and execute roadmaps for HR technology initiatives, focusing on process improvement, automation, and integration.
- Oversee the Workday SME in providing expert guidance on system functionality, configurations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and implement solutions that streamline HR operations.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all HRIS processes.
- Stay informed on Workday updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead user training initiatives, facilitate change management, and promote best practices in system use.
