The Position:
We are hiring for a people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Spokane, WA. As the Human Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks throughout all areas of the HR department.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to create positive associate engagement and maintain a people focused culture.
  • Act as the first point of contact and support for all associates regarding Human Resources related inquiries.
  • Ownership of the onboarding process including pre-employment screening, process all records for new hires, coordinate and partner with departments for a seamless first day experience.
  • Complete, verify, and maintain I-9 documentation.
  • Manage uniform and welcome gift inventory, including ordering, distribution, and inventory tracking.
  • Customize and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Conduct audits in biweekly payroll to ensure accurate incentive plan payouts, benefits, and other HR programs; providing corrective action as needed.
  • Assist the recruiting team with creating and opening job postings, conducting intake calls, scheduling interviews, weekly metrics, and dispositioning applicants as needed.
  • Organize, maintain, and update our associate Human Resource Information System (HRIS) & Learning Management System (LMS) information; acting as a resource to all associates when needed for technical support.
  • Prepare materials and help organize associate performance review process, salary review, and benefit open enrollment periods.
  • Act as a backup to benefit administrator, respond to general insurance inquiries and requests for insurance cards.
  • Assist HR Team with the offboarding process.
  • Assist HR Team with compliance and reporting.
  • General office support for the HR Team.
  • Comply with company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel), HRIS, LMS, ATS, and other various computer programs.
  • Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
