Job description

SNELLING is recruiting for an HR Manager / HR Business Partner for a local client whose employee base numbers around 60-65 employees. The HR Manager/HR Business Partner will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to provide both strategic and operational support to the across the full employee life cycle. This hands-on, people focused role drives effective HR operations—including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, HRIS, and employee relations—while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and internal customer service.
This is a direct-hire position, meaning you will begin employment directly on the client employer’s payroll from day one, with Snelling guiding you confidentially through the interview and consideration process.

  • HR Operations & Employee Relations: Handle day-to-day HR functions and support positive workplace relations.

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations paired with sharp problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Non-profit and/or manufacturing experience highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred).
  • Proven track record with mandatory reporting, compliance filings, and government agency interactions.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Compensation for this position will depend on the educational and relevant professional employment experience of the selected candidate and includes an annual base salary around $60K. An excellent benefits package is available. Relocation or remote work is not available for this position.
