Overview

SOSi is seeking an experienced Capture Manager to support our Technology & Engineering (T&E) business headquartered in Reston, VA. The Capture Manager is responsible for leading capture teams (to include business development staff, line staff, functional staff, subject matter experts, and teammates) in pursuit of key corporate opportunities with DoD and Federal Government civilian agency customers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development / Capture for the T&E Business Unit, the successful candidate will own and prosecute a pipeline of opportunities valued in the $50-150M range and above and will have ultimate responsibility for successful outcomes. Essential Job Duties

  • Develops, executes, and manages win strategies for corporate top opportunities, from the qualification stage through pursuit to proposal and award.
  • Accountable for winning assigned opportunities.
  • Leads and leverages gate reviews, competitive analysis, solutioning, pricing and price-to-win, teaming, staffing, customer relationships, past performance selection, and opportunity shaping to maximize win probability.
  • Works with line leads to create a gap analysis across the full Statement of Work / Performance Work Statement, identifies teaming partners to close those gaps, and negotiates teaming agreements.
  • Works with the proposal team to develop and deliver proposals that are compelling and compliant.
  • Plans, manages, and controls capture cost and schedule, and owns the B&P budget for each opportunity.
  • Participates in trade shows, industry days, and marketing events.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Secret clearance required, with the ability to gain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ year track record of demonstrated success in DoD and/or Federal Government Civilian Agency business development and capture, with emphasis on technology & engineering services and solutions opportunities exceeding $50M in total contract value.
  • Total mastery of the capture process.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD and/or Federal Government acquisition processes and their alignment with the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Develops, executes, and manages win strategies for corporate top opportunities, from the qualification stage through pursuit to proposal and award.

Work Environment

  • Working conditions as normal for an office environment with 3 days in the office with 2 days optional remote work.
