As an Associate Physician Recruiter, you'll partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and recruitment professionals to deliver an outstanding candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. This is a highly collaborative role that combines relationship-building, event planning, marketing, and project coordination to help recruit top medical talent.

Summary

The Associate Physician Recruiter works closely with Physician & APP candidates along with leadership before, during and following the interview process. This individual participates in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with Physicians & APPs, clinic leadership, and contacts in the community to support recruitment efforts throughout the system.

Job Description

Establishes and maintains consistent contact and relationships with candidates to ensure an outstanding recruitment experience. Assists with creating a full community profile and adds depth to the practice opportunity descriptions based on their local interactions with the departments/service lines to attract and educate candidates. Collaborate with the recruiter to present appealing practice opportunities to candidates and represent the organization and surrounding communities to promote the system to candidates and their families. Develops and manages the candidate's site visit, including dates, itinerary, airline reservations, lodging, transportation, activities for candidate's significant other and/or children to ensure excellent interview experiences. Customizes the schedule to meet the needs of the candidate and those of the candidate's family. Triages visit by personally providing tours, occasionally attending social functions, picking up/coordinating transportation to ensure an outstanding experience for the candidate. Conducts candidate interviews, ensuring excellent experiences for both the candidate, their family, and leadership. Creates a recruitment experience designed to establish the organization as an employer choice and location as community of choice. Coordinates follow-up activity for the candidate to establish the system as the employer of choice. Works to determine ongoing candidate interest and fit for opportunity. Provides updates to the appropriate stakeholders regarding the status of each candidate and post-visit survey results. Maintains and updates the applicant tracking software to ensure accuracy. Communicates professionally and effectively with candidates and leaders to plan and execute site visits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required. In lieu of education, leadership may accept four years of applicable experience. Area of focus in Healthcare, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred.
One year of relevant experience preferred.
Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) certification preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must maintain a good driving record.
