As an internal recruiter, you identify current and future staffing needs of a business, develop a sound brand name, and ensure a company is giving employees a positive experience. Your responsibilities include collaborating with the recruiting team and your managers to write job advertisements for open positions and then finding areas to advertise jobs such as career pages, social media, and job boards. You source some employees through online channels like professional networks and portfolio sites. In some positions, you are also asked to implement employee referral plans. Other duties include participating in career fairs and other related recruiting events that can boost the company’s reputation. You assist with new employee onboarding, offer interview feedback, answer candidate questions, analyze employee retention and turnover rates to better determine hiring needs.
