Do internal recruiters earn commission?

As an internal recruiter, there are a variety of pay structures your employer can use. Some employers put you on a salary, and you work with one business as an employee, most often within the HR department. Other employers prefer their recruiters to be on a contract-basis over a set period and, using this pay model, recruiters are not paid based on who they hire. Being on contract can give you a better perspective of the business by being part of the staff and also seeing things from the outside since you have worked with many other companies as well. External recruiters, on the other hand, receive a commission or a recruitment fee.
