Make an impact
The Accounts Payable Manager leads a modern, technology-enabled AP function, transforming the team from transactional processors into strategic contributors. This role oversees a team of 4-5 and is responsible for accurate, timely execution while leveraging automation, analytics, and strong controls to improve efficiency, cash flow visibility, and vendor outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing AP team, evolving capabilities from processing to analysis and issue resolution
  • Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and a service-oriented culture
  • Oversee full-cycle AP (invoice intake through payment) with a focus on automation and workflow efficiency
  • Utilize tools such as AI-powered OCR, automated matching, and dynamic approvals to reduce manual effort
  • Manage payment execution (ACH, wire, check, virtual cards) and resolve escalations
  • Improve working capital through discount capture, payment strategy, and rebate programs
  • Maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and fraud prevention practices
  • Support close processes, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Leverage ERP and AP tools (e.g., Yardi, PredictAP or similar) to enhance accuracy and reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements and scalable workflows
  • Partner cross-functionally to streamline end-to-end processes
