JOB TITLE: CORP PROJECT MANAGER IV  

JOB SUMMARY 

The Corporate Project Manager IV provides project management expertise and critical engagement with key stakeholders on initiatives that advance our business lines. This individual will independently manage multiple concurrent projects while driving process improvements, change management initiatives, and business transformation efforts across Accounting & Finance.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Project Leadership & Execution 
  • Lead projects through the full project management lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and project closure. 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with limited oversight. 
  • Define and manage project scope, scheduled, budgets, and resource requirements to support business goals. 
  • Develop project plans, work estimations, and timelines. 
  • Monitor project progress and ensure achievement of project objectives, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Analyze and execute plans to successfully conclude projects and transition ownership to operational teams. 
  • Ensure project budget, schedule, quality, and performance objectives are met. 
  • Stakeholder & Client Management 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, Accounting & Finance, IT, and vendors. 
  • Communicate project expectations, status updates, risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with stakeholders. 
  • Prepare and distribute post-meeting summaries, action items, decision logs, and follow-up communications.   
  • Influence decision-making and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. 
  • Documentation & Governance 
  • Create and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Develop and manage project artifacts including: 
  • Project charters 
  • Business requirements 
  • Communication plans 
  • Resource plans 
  • Risk mitigation plans 
  • Testing and implementation plans 
  • Change management plans 
  • Status reports and executive summaries 
  • Ensure compliance with project governance standards and documentation requirements. 
  • Financial & Operational Excellence 
  • Leverage Accounts Payable and Finance process knowledge to identify improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives. 
  • Partner with Accounting & Finance teams to optimize business processes and technology solutions. 
  • Change Management & Continuous Improvement 
  • Identify and drive change management activities to support adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies. 
  • Facilitate organizational readiness and stakeholder engagement efforts. 
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-implementation reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS: 

Leads cross-functional initiatives from project initiation through implementation and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred. 
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives. 
  • Experience supporting Finance transformation, ERP, AP automation, procure-to-pay, or accounting system implementations preferred 
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and controls. 
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or similar). 
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand business systems and technology solutions. 
  • Experience developing project documentation and executive-level presentations. 
  • Exceptional organization, planning, and task management skills. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
