Position Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant
Location: Irvine, CA 
Reporting To: Accounts Payable Manager
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Salary: $20.00/Hourly

EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
The AP Assistant provides high-level support and service to the AP Specialists. This position is responsible for assisting in all areas of AP including, but not limited to: scanning a high volume of invoices, research, and special projects as assigned by the AP Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform quality work within deadlines under limited supervision
• Interact professionally with the direct team and all levels of our organization
• Coordinate efforts with others and maintain effective communication
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• General Accounting knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while managing multiple-tasks
• Proficient MS Office skills (i.e. Excel), paired with comfort quickly mastering new software programs
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ultimate professionalism, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
• Be stationary for periods of time
• Relocate up to (25) pounds

SUPERVISES OTHERS? IF SO, LIST:
• None

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL:
• Monday-Friday from approx. 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs
