Job description

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Tolleson that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Manager to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and overseeing the full accounts payable function in a fast-paced environment. This direct-hire opportunity is fully onsite and paying up to $80,000 annually. Responsibilities: Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management Manage and mentor Accounts Payable staff, providing training and performance support Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments Review AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues or discrepancies Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle escalated inquiries Oversee month-end AP close activities, including accruals and reconciliations Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist with cash flow planning and payment scheduling Support audit requests by providing documentation and responding to inquiries Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Partner with accounting and finance leadership to support business objectives and reporting needs Requirements: 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
