Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in US providing a wide range of Energy related products and services to its customers, seeks an accomplished Talent Advisor.


JOB OVERVIEW:

  • Role: Talent Advisor (Contract-to-Hire)
  • Location: New York, NY 10003 (Hybrid work flexibility)
  • Schedule: Hybrid | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
  • Duration: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion
  • Pay Rate: $50/hour
  • Start Date: ASAP


JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Talent Advisor to support a growing recruitment team during a period of increased hiring activity and organizational transformation. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can effectively manage shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.


The Talent Advisor will play a critical role in full-cycle recruiting efforts, candidate pipeline management, stakeholder communication, and onboarding support for union hires. Experience recruiting within utility, engineering, telecom, or related industries is highly preferred.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume hiring initiatives
  • Source, screen, and coordinate candidates across multiple open positions
  • Leverage job boards, ATS platforms, and recruiting tools to build talent pipelines
  • Support recruitment operations and organizational restructuring initiatives
  • Conduct and assist with new union hire orientations
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking and recruitment reporting using Excel and ATS systems
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure hiring goals are met
  • Prioritize and manage multiple requisitions and competing deadlines in a dynamic environment


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in high-volume environments
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting background
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume screening
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Proven ability to create and manage detailed recruiting reports and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to remain organized, composed, and detail-oriented in fast-paced settings


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for engineering, utility, telecom, or related industries
  • Union hiring experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Proven track record of meeting aggressive hiring goals and deadlines
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to keep teams aligned and accountable
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on reporting accuracy and operational excellence
