Talent Specialist Requirements:

Talent Specialist Daily Duties:
Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing model staffing through consultation with field management and Scheduling. Sustain model staffing by accounting for separations, availability restrictions due to client requirements and officer availability.
Develop a bench as needed to meet standards established by critical clients and for remote geographic sites.
Recruit and hire new associates for security officer, store detective and undercover divisions by conducting interviews in assigned offices.
Identify officers for upward movement within the company.
Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting external recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplish human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Talent Specialist Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to all Human Resource directives, policies and procedures.
Maintain flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary in order to ensure smooth functioning of the company.
