Today, their more than 5,000 agents produce over $25 million of Medicare and ancillary products, helping hundreds of thousands of seniors.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, sharp, and innovative Agent Support representative to help with communication, organization and coordination between agents, agencies, and carriers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork, providing agent support, tracking policy statuses, and will build relationships with our agents nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in professional verbal and written communication with agents.

  • Ability to manage multiple email inboxes and respond to inquiries promptly.

  • Capable of handling phone calls from agents/agencies and carriers and returning voicemails in a timely manner.

  • Experienced in using Excel and Word for creating and managing reports and templates for agents.

  • Responsible for conducting "Welcome Calls" and introducing new agents

  • Knowledgeable about various Medicare carriers and their processes.

  • Understanding of commission structures from carriers.

  • Adept at troubleshooting issues for agents, related to their clients.

  • Ability to learn/use multiple systems and resources

  • Collaborative, able to work with team members and other departments.

  • Capable of assisting with and understanding certifications for Medicare carriers.

  • Proficient in navigating different carrier websites.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • High School degree of GED

  • 0-2 year of related experience

  • Licensed to sell health and life insurance preferred

  • Experience with Medicare and/or the Affordable Care Act.

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills

  • Strong listening skills

  • Attention to Detail

  • Organizational skills

  • Strong customer service skills
