Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime may be required based on business needs)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to join our growing team in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This position is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, screening, and placing qualified candidates while building strong relationships with clients and job seekers. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Hospitality and retail management professionals are encouraged to apply! If you have experience managing people, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced customer service environment, we will provide training to help you succeed in recruiting.

Responsibilities
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting methods.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
  • Match candidates with available employment opportunities based on qualifications and experience.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, and background screening as needed.
  • Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation.
  • Follow up with employees and clients to ensure successful placements.
  • Meet recruiting goals and hiring deadlines.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting, staffing, hospitality management, retail management, customer service, sales, or leadership experience preferred.
  • Hotel Managers and Retail Managers are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems.
  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus.
