Responsibilities often include conducting market research, reaching out to vendors, collecting quotes, and maintaining supplier databases. Entry level sourcing professionals play a key role in ensuring that a company can obtain quality materials or services at competitive prices, while also learning the basics of supply chain and procurement operations. This role is a great starting point for those interested in a career in supply chain management or procurement.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level sourcing professional?

To thrive as an Entry Level Sourcing professional, you need a basic understanding of procurement processes, strong analytical abilities, and at least a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
