Training & Talent Specialist
Are you passionate about helping others learn, grow, and succeed? LOC Credit Union is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Training & Talent Specialist to join our Human Resources & Training team.
In this role, you'll support the Credit Union's recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives by coordinating learning programs, facilitating engaging training sessions, assisting with talent acquisition efforts, and ensuring employees have the tools and resources they need to be successful. Working closely with the Director of HR & Training and leaders across the organization, you'll help deliver exceptional onboarding experiences, maintain learning resources, administer the Learning Management System (LMS), and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
The ideal candidate is an organized, engaging communicator who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about developing employees while delivering outstanding internal service.
What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and employee training programs.
  • Support recruiting efforts by assisting with the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Develop and update training materials, job aids, and learning resources.
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate training records.
  • Monitor required training completion and assist with compliance reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
  • Help coordinate employee learning events and organizational training programs.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience in training, onboarding, recruiting, Human Resources, or talent development.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for coaching, learning, and helping others succeed.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional service.
  • Financial institution or credit union experience is preferred.
