What You Will Do:

  • The Project Planner will be responsible for managing projects to highlight risks, drive project improvements, and maintain projects schedules. The Project Planner will be working with engineers and customers to make sure their projects go smoothly.
  • Review their projects weekly for risks that could delay deliverables. Achieve this by working with the engineers and understanding their status of the tasks. Ensure smooth communications and service delivery over full engineering lifecycle, between client and end users. 
  • Be responsible for project planning and oversight of planned activities from beginning to end.
  • Keep track of work in progress, collaborate with suppliers, handle risks, and ensure projects are completed per schedule.
  • Service as customer advocate between internal technical teams and customer technical teams.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates to the customer and Quest Global leadership on progress of deliverables.
  • Identify and prioritize customer issues and coordinate with internal team to do PSR, RCAs, etc.
  • Lead creation and management of change control procedure, product roadmap, risk register and build release procedure.

What You Will Bring:

  • BS in Project Management or Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-6 years of experience in Project Management

Pay Range: $60,000 to $80,000 a year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Schenectady, NY.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 10% of travel is required.
