Program Management Specialist- Jr.
This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
The Program Management Specialist Jr. supports the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) by managing the development, coordination, and tracking of Army Support Agreements in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Management Specialist $85,000 - $90,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Project Management Specialist Responsibilities Include:
  • Review, edit, and track Army Support Agreements (e.g., 7600A and 7600B) for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure agreements meet fiscal law requirements and align with Army policy and audit readiness standards
  • Coordinate requirements and draft support agreement documentation
  • Facilitate approval processes with legal, Program Management (PM) staff, and HQ stakeholders
  • Track agreements against ASA (ALT) and FM&C policies and thresholds
  • Maintain and update Support Agreement trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools using Excel and Office 365
  • Assist with implementation and execution of G-Invoicing processes
  • Monitor timelines to ensure agreements are approved prior to mission or event execution
  • Prepare charts and briefing materials for leadership on agreement status, risks, and milestones
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external customers, agencies, and contractors
  • Build and maintain relationships with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth agreement execution
  • Support process improvements and standardization of support agreement practice
  • This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Project Management Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience supporting program management, financial operations, or administrative processes within a government or defense environment
  • Experience with Army Support Agreements.
  • Experience reviewing and tracking agreements for compliance, audit readiness, and policy alignment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting
  • Experience managing trackers, dashboards, and status reporting for leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Experience supporting or implementing G-Invoicing processes
  • Familiarity with ASA (ALT) and FM&C policies and procedures
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports
  • Knowledge of federal financial management and reimbursable agreement processes
  • This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
