Job description

Loan Documentation Specialist II

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Documentation Specialist II to join our Loan Administration team. Reporting to the Loan Documentation Lead, the Loan Documentation Specialist II performs a variety of functions associated with the origination of new loans and renewals/modifications of existing loans. This position requires responsiveness to our borrowers and lending staff to ensure the timeliness of loan closings. Accuracy is required to reduce risk to the bank and remain in compliance with laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, review and process documentation for all commercial and consumer loans to ensure terms of documents are in accordance with committee approved request and following bank policy, lending practices and regulatory statutes. May include communication with outside counsel related to document preparation and other due diligence.
  • Preparation of Participation Agreement and Letter of credit documentation, renewals, and modifications.
  • Complete CRA and HMDA requirements for documentation and compliance reporting.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with internal partners to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-6 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • LaserPro experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation
  • Fiserv Premier/FIS experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The typical hourly pay range for this role is between $30.90/hr. - $34.62/hr. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
